suggested it was a "bad" shot, but Verlaine insisted it was exactly the "cold, clinical" look he wanted.

#5albums70s4 #albumoftheday @televisionband Marquee Moon (1977) @elektrarecords Stone cold classic debut rock album. The foundation for REM, alternative rock and so much more. Amazing rhythm section, lead guitar and lyrics. World class all round. Best track - Friction #nowplaying

#NowPlaying @Televisionband Television - Marquee Moon (1977) The otherworldly appearance of Verlaine on the cover, a clear indication that we're in unheard, uncharted territory here. A paradigm shift is happening and Television were both at the tipping point and cutting edge.

Masterpiece.

The underappreciated third album from Television. This reissue sounds phenomenal.
