Alright screw it here’s the run down. Among the diaspora of Telugus there are three main Telugu castes: Caste A,B, and C. Not gonna take names but you can find out easily. The Telugu diaspora is concentrated heavily in New Jersey, Texas(specifically Dallas), and the Bay Area.
I really want to do a write up on South Indian caste dynamics(especially Telugu ones) in the US. Dallas is especially the hub of toxicity. And the funny thing is all the parties involved are upper castes.
What’s really funny is how multipolar it gets with regards to this. North Indian upper caste NRIs absolutely love doing casteism in the name of stopping hinduphobia. South Indians NRIs are just as casteists but all the upper castes hate eachother more so they don’t attack as much.

The dark green areas were part of the gigantic Bengal province, while the orange areas were part of the Madras province.
To this day, the main linguistic minorities in northern Odisha are Bengalis, while in southern Odisha it's Telugus.
(My hometown is 15% Telugu)

It Depends . most telugus or south indians don't support or vote for bjp in India and telugus are the biggest new indian immigrants in usa whereas older gujarati and many north indian immigrants do support bjp .entire south india is run by liberal and lefty parties

That is because earlier migration and cuisine was dominated by punjabi,Bengalis and gujaratis . South indian migrated to gulf and southeast asia . Now a lot more telugus have immigrated to usa so you will see south indian breakfast centres in the future

It is about the kinda of ethnic groups that migrate to usa and uk are different. There are lot of telugus in usa and Punjabis,Bengalis in uk . Telugu cuisine is spicier and lot more diverse than others

Yup . Telugus have been dominating indian american pop culture and international student for a decade and half . You see now many many telugu restaurants . North Texas,seattle,bay area,tri state area,many midwestern college towns etc
