On 5 March, a German AA gunner sergeant sat down and penned his report about the sinking of SS Tembien by HM/Sub Upholder on 27 February. Tembien was the last of three vessels carrying Allied POWs from Operation CRUSADER to be sunk. About 400 POWs died on her.

#OTD in 1941 the attacks on the Tembien convoy continued. During the night Swordfish's attacked, hitting nothing despite claiming multiple successes. One of my pet projects is to run the list of Malta Swordfish claims against confirmed sinking. Just sayin'!

#OTD in 1941 the attacks on the Tembien convoy continued. During the night Swordfish's attacked, hitting nothing despite claiming multiple successes. One of my pet projects is to run the list of Malta Swordfish claims against confirmed sinking. Just sayin'!

Esto a parte se cumple con la diosas (Atenea, Calipso, Circe) pero también con las mortales (Helena, Arete, Nausícaa, Penélope) y hasta tenemos esclavas deslenguadas y astutas como Euriclea, con bastante autonomía y haciendo de las suyas. Tembién hay variedad: adolescentes, mujeres maduras, ancianas
