for today's #PalacesandGardens theme of #SeasonalShift.

Photograph quality not just seasonal shift here! 🍃🍂
Today's challenge had me digging deep in the albums.

Summertime photograph taken looking up at the Temple of Fame, at Studley Royal Water Gardens in North Yorkshire. Nestled on a high bank covered in trees and shrubs, it's a Grade I listed, classical temple with stone pillars and a domed roof. The views from up there are amazing! Blue sky with clouds overhead. Studley Royal Water Gardens, Deer Park and Fountains Abbey, form a large UNESCO World Heritage Site run by the National Trust. The gardens are full of follies, temples, statues and lakes. Best time for a walk or a run here is a Sunday morning where you don't encounter many others. It's bliss! You can clock up the miles without really noticing. Autumnal photograph taken looking up at the Temple of Fame at Studley Royal Water Gardens. Tried to crop the two photographs to look as identical as I could. The quality of this one isn't as good as the summer one which was taken with the big camera. The shrubs below the classical temple remain full of dark green leaves, but the trees surrounding it have either autumnal-coloured leaves or bare branches. For further info on the place, please read the alt text on the summer photograph. I have actually amazed myself that I've achieved this week's brilliant challenge with two photographs from a 'fancy garden' that look so close to each other. Must have been here over thirty times so it was my first thought of finding potential material.
