I don’t think it’s really tenable to have a situation where the president can sue someone as a supposedly private citizen but can’t be sued while in office.

“Abolish ICE” was immediately met with eye rolling condescension and after events proved that policy correct, and support *among Democrats* for it exploded to like 80%, it didn’t move party leaders at all. How is this tenable

Lewis just lying about this is still the most important part of the story imo. News cycle moved on but he has no credibility when he speaks anymore.

It is simply not politically or economically tenable for California and New York to fund the federal government while Trump tries to kneecap the states.

Two Republican senators told me tonight this vote shows they can execute the same strategy again — cut Democrats out of the negotiations on a gov’t funding bill, pass it thru the House, and expect Senate Dems to back down and not filibuster it.

The narrative that anti-vaxxers or QAnon weirdos will come back from the brink if we're nice enough to them isn't tenable morally and doesn't hold up empirically. Ostracizing people whose beliefs harm others is a critical aspect of a functioning marketplace of ideas.

A lot of people are just seething at the fact that unquestioned support for Israel in every respect is no longer tenable or mainstream.
Tomorrow, the House will vote on the NDAA, which includes a provision to merge parts of our military with the IDF.
