so far really enjoying the character focus of tehanu. i really liked tenar as a character in atuan and it makes sense that we should see the world differently through her

Eg er ikkje ein av dei altså, det skal seiast. Er også ein mellomting. I Bergen er alltid frontane så harde. Brann tenar 200 mill og 50% trur den andre halvdelen vil bruke alle pengane med ein gong, mens hi sida er sure på dei som vil sette alt i banken og satse på at Thore P og Palle er godt nok.

That’s the book where we meet Tenar. It takes a little bit to wind up but it gets really good! I just think she’s a really complex character and it’s cool to see her journey in that one. If you read the third book, be prepared for her to disappear for a while until the fourth book lol.

For å utvikle seg måtte taket opp og skillet i troppen bli større. Er du 3. valg og ung tenar du 700. Er du stjerne tenar du 4-5 mill. Det blei aldri slik og no går det elendig. Neste år er Glimt, Viking, Molde og RBK topp 4 med VIF, Tromsø, LSK og Brann som utfordrarar.

I’ve been listening to Ursula Leguin’s Earthsea cycle. And I really like it! But I definitely find the second and fourth books which focus on the woman protagonist, Tenar, far more interesting and compelling of a story than the books that focus on Ged the wizard.
