Second child’s birthday. She is 20 today. It’s amazing how well memory preserves the feeling of shock & stunned disgust I experienced in the aftermath of her delivery. Her older brother tenderly remarked, “she’s just a red ball of skin”.
She has evolved into a brilliant human being though.

A Swiffer duster is being used to dust the starboard side forward chine of the Space Shuttle Engineering Mockup’s starboard side double delta wing. We are using our hand, because the typically attachment would not allow us to get a feel of the surface, which could cause damage, so doing this by hand provides greater feedback, thus minimizing the risks in restoration efforts.
