a clique of terrapunk mission statements coming soon, to an accelerator near you
The real danger of Burning Man 2023 is a bunch of suddenly climate-conscious tech bros returning to San Francisco and launching hundreds of super sketchy, ill-advised, and vaguely fascist geoengineering startups.

Waste is waste. If the food rots, or the water is poisoned, or any of that, it is waste.

Downstream economics is not the way we should work. We NEED a circular economy.

What you're proposing is more in line with the ideas under the umbrella of 'terrapunk' rather than 'solarpunk'

Terrapunk is actually NOT a good thing. It is incredibly hubristic to think we can 'control' nature, especially on a geoengineering level.

Not to mention that pro-market just means that power will be centralized in the hands of those with more wealth and willingness to exploit.
