Nice - Terrantez is pretty rare but also possibly my favourite Madeira grape; subtler, more nuanced and intricate.

Magic wine. Early in my wine days a bottle of '77 Terrantez blew my mind. I drank the whole thing at a restaurant that did 1/2 off industry night on Mondays. Maybe $10/glass, and they were heavy pours for industry folks. In the US, the Rare Wine Co. Historic Series is a good value place to start.

Arinto dos Açores, Verdelho, Terrantez do Pico. Do Pico. Vai ser servido junto a um atum braseado com batata doce, como comi na Madalena. No Pico. Não sei se já referi o Pico.

Der Wirt des Weingeschäftes in #Funchal macht eine Flasche extra auf - für mich 😇 *Ehre* Er hat mich sofort erkannt, als ich ins Geschäft rein ging. Dabei hatte ich mich letztes Jahr nur 2x mit ihm unterhalten.
