I am heavily biased but having got my A1200 mobo recapped by them, bought my TerribleFire 030 from them, bought my TerribleFire 060 from them, I would definitely recommend them.

so, I had a little part (the intro assembler demo ... and other "bits" 🙂) in Terriblefire's wild compo entry at Revision2026 for his bootable PCMCIA drive for Amiga 1200/600 .

Consider Stephen Leary's TerribleFire based solutions - have been very impressed with them in mine.
For the 1200 you have a few options: TF1230, TF1260 & TF1232.

Well, she's alive. Cosmetically very good condition and seems to be fully working. It'll need its bad capacitors replaced and a bit of an upgrade with some TerribleFire.

TerribleFire and PiStorm are both excellent, cost-effective accelerators. Accelerating an A1200 is a must if you’re going to be running games from WHDLoad images and not floppies.

I don't think the TerribleFire TF536 boards have room to accommodate an FPU.

Thanks! I wanted to retain period appropriate speed. I have an external Gotek drive which I can connect when needed. The TerribleFire has an IDE port on it which I'm using with a CF card for a hard drive. I plan on using a BlueSCSI with the A2091 and Rob Smith's network driver to get it online.

The dhrystone gives you a handy, synthetic speed rating, but I wanted to know how much faster my #Amiga 1200 would really be if I upgraded it from an Individual Computers ACA1211 accelerator with 11.5mb RAM to a TerribleFire TF1232 with a 68030 processor and 128mb RAM.

I’m tempted to buy a vampire accelerator board but I fail to see what I’m going to need 1gb ram on an Amiga 3 machine for especially since I don’t target it for any of my programming
My 68k Amiga (terriblefire) is only ever used for minimum spec testing stuff
