Splatoon is NOT friendly to beginners, your locked out of most weapons modes and connection issues esp on launch did drive actual larger variety creators away. The testfire was better for new people then launch.
In JP big creators want the splatoon audience bc its sizeable.

Splatoon is impossible to get those other big north american creators like Japan does because of regional matchmaking. they will just not find game ever and will drop it out of boredom (fix the game)
