I get a lot of Qs about how I scan my film. So, I figured as I do today's scans I'd try and document the process a bit.
My setup:
OM SYSTEM OM-1 (used to use E-M1 Mark II)
M.ZUIKO 60mm f2.8 Macro
Half of a Testrite CS-4 copy stand
Cheap tracing tablet
Pane of glass
4x 2" spacers
Film holders

This thing cleaned up a treat. Simple parts held together with simple screws and threads. Very user serviceable!
I think maybe it's missing knobs for the crank and the feet could stand replacing. I'll have to see if I can track those down.

Still just my usual OM-1 on a Testrite with a 60mm f2.8 macro. Since this is a plate I scan in the 80mp high rez. The rest is just considerate editing. This one needed to be "printed" with a softer contrast grade and it's got some simple dodge work done as well.

I use my digital (OM SYSTEM OM-1) on half of an old Testrite copy stand I got cheap on eBay because it's missing the top half, an Amazon tracing tablet, 4 steel spacers, a piece of glass, for 35mm a 3d-printed holder, and for conversions LR and NLP

do some research, the testrite/stanrite 500 comes up a lot
it's like $160-$200, not sure I can justify that when I don't have current income 😬
