A vertical, close-up shot of a rose bud beginning to unfurl against a blurred background of a light gray stone wall. The petals are a creamy butter-yellow at the base, transitioning into a delicate, pale dusty pink at the curled edges. The bud is slender and upright, supported by a vibrant green stem covered in small, sharp prickles. Dark green, serrated leaves surround the base of the flower, and another small, tightly closed green bud is visible in the soft-focus background. A vertical, top-down shot of the same rose, now significantly more open, taken 12 hours later. The rose has transformed into a full, rounded bloom with many layers of ruffled petals. The center is a deep, warm yellow that fades to a lighter cream toward the outer edges, where the tips of the petals retain a faint, thin margin of pale pink. The rose is framed by lush, dark green foliage. In the lower-left corner, a spent flower head (rose hip) is visible, appearing brown and dried.
