Also I agree in that... I do feel a certain bad vibe from "WoW forever will be your new home" but like.. pushing away anyone who doesn't play the 8 core races + Skyborne/Thalassian Elves to a degree
So Draenei, Pandaren etc. aren't welcome, I suppose?

It is something that drove me to the hunter fantasy in wow (well the thalassian one especially anfjajfa)
Also same with Hal, both Wolf and Kat have influenced me with this and I wanna do him a druid in my verse. I think Erihlin also has some neat thalassian druidism ideas here!!

Should I proceed as a human paladin? Or swap to a (sigh) sky elf warrior bc it might be the closest to a playable Thalassian that Forever comes?

You get it in TBC with some Draenei in Bloodmyst learning Thalassian while interrogating Blood Elves or Outland war heroes learning how to insult their demon foes, but imagine the hobbyists who learn challenging languages for less hostile reasons

I had to plant that idea before I posted the design so it was less of a shock lmao.
Not my fault she looks and dresses like a Thalassian elf

They wrote a story of the Thalassian nation moving forward. People mostly just wanted the evil sexy crackhead elves they half remember.

Watch Tel'abim be a Forever zone only.
This is the axis we have to view all our hopes and dreams through now. Thalassian Druids, Bards, Necromancers and Bananas.

I would say that we will find the ruins of the islands that have fallen from the sky. No living Skyborne, but remains of their existence. Then, our Thalassian elves get to study what remains and adapt some of their teachings to their own (giving us sky elf customisation options).

It's kinda funny that Delaryn Summermoon is just a thalassian elf larper, there's barely anything that looks night elf to her in Warbringers

The fact that I pin these two next to my velf druid who actively hates and wants to Run Them Through. Will start ranting in shath'yar if they're in the room while Bric scolds her to be nice in thalassian

My biggest WoW hot take is that there are no High Elves or Void Elves. Every Thalassian is a Blood Elf, even the ones that the Alliance has assimilated.

Still, I think for the Argus rep we should have gotten Krokul instead and high elves somewhere in there, with void elves perhaps serving as a shared customization between the thalassian elves earned through a questline or two.
