Yay Leeds! If you’re ever in Leeds, definitely go to Tharavadu (and Bundobust, which is right next door, is also excellent) www.theguardian.com/food/2024/se...

Can I just say thanks to the brilliant Leeds restaurant Tharavadu @TharavaduRestau for putting up with four loud but chuffed Arsenal fans late last night. Absolutely superb Indian food from Kerala. Highly recommended. I hope Leeds stay up just so we can go again next season

Not tagged, but if you haven’t been to Bundobust and Tharavadu (near the station) I strongly recommend!

Thanks Eddie! Tharavadu I know, Bundobust I don't 👍

After an amazing dinner at Tharavadu Restaurant we stopped for a beer next door at Bundobust. I had a cracking West Coast Rye IPA (a collab with @verdantbrew.bsky.social).

Ooooh it’s the same owners as Tharavadu. That was probably the best meal I had out last year.

Hard to beat tharavadu

Tharavadu is ace.

Tax time, a stupendously tedious job so we’ve livened it up by going to Leeds to start going through paperwork and receipts in cafes with a break for curry in Tharavadu. My partner got a masala dosa larger than her arm (she still scoffed it though 👀🤫).

Got a bit of tax done.

Tharavadu in Leeds and Skosk in York are ones I'd recommend.
Only critique of the first is the waiter telling us we may have ordered too much food.
And both supporting your initial statement.

Treat yourself to a meal at Tharavadu

Two really good Indian restaurants close to you. They’re next door to each other on Mill Hill. Tharavadu and Bundobust. 2mins walk from the station.

Usually Bundobust. Or next door, Tharavadu. Teppanyaki is still good. Can't speak to the current quality of the food but Whitelocks is still pretty great for an Old Peculier and possibly a fish finger sandwich. Disclaimer: I'm out of date.

If you happen to have a spare moment I'll come down.

Tharavadu and Bundobust are both good options in the city centre

Really glad Tharavadu is getting reviews like this.
Honestly one of the best places to eat in Leeds.

Have had some recommendations from kind ppl on here. I walked past The Adelphi and I might drop into Whitelocks on my way back to the station. Apparently Tharavadu is outstanding for food but sadly won’t have time to sample it on this occasion

Tharavadu & Azotea are good bets. Sadly a lot of the more original creative places ars shutting.

Dishoom is about to open in Leeds. My instagram is going to be awash with people eating fucking naan bacon sandwiches.

Who never post from Prashad, Tharavadu or Manjits. Three local legends.

It was the same when Blank Street opened. Support your indies and do it today.
