I revisited "The Before Trilogy" by filmmaker Richard Linklater over the past few days, for the first time in over a decade.

Excellent films which make me not only want to revisit many his works, but also titles I have missed.

What better series to cover for Romantic Season than #TheBeforeTrilogy 😍

@jeanninedabean.bsky.social & @thepurpledon.bsky.social kick things off with Jesse & Celine's spontaneous night in Vienna in BEFORE SUNRISE (1995)

If you’ve never seen #TheBeforeTrilogy, we’d suggest starting with 💙Before Sunset (2004)(Paris) actually.

You could stop there (really, it’s the *perfect* ending).

Or, move on to 💙Before Midnight (2013)(Greece) before looping back around to the very beginning, 💙Before Sunrise (1995)(Vienna).

Nine years later, Jesse & Celine meet again and what follows may just be the most beautiful of #TheBeforeTrilogy

Sticking with #RichardLinklater having finished #TheBeforeTrilogy, but not quite done with Romance, the series ends with his latest movie, HIT-MAN (2023)

#GlenPowell's assassin helps a desperate woman who he ends up falling for 👀

Today we come to the finale of #TheBeforeTrilogy with #BeforeMidnight. The film sees our leads deep into their life together with kids in tow. On a Grecian vacation, they reminisce about their past and contemplate their future. Check out today’s ep of “Morgan Hasn’t Seen!”

Day 45 is #thebeforetrilogy from #richardlinklater and starring #ethanhawke and #juliedelpy.
Great trilogy!

#physicalmedia #criterioncollecrion #thebeforetrilogy #beforesunrise I didn't realize the entire trilogy got put on Blu-ray much less remastered by the folk at @criterion.bsky.social I saw the final movie in the theater and only own the DVD of the other two. The packaging is lovely so are the movies

Poca veces algo supera las expectativas que de por sí ya eran muy altas y #TheBeforeTrilogy sí que lo hizo con Sunset siendo mi favorita.

On today’s episode of “Morgan Hasn’t Seen” we closed out our #RichardLinklater series with 2023’s #Hitman! A bit of a shift after #TheBeforeTrilogy so check out our discussion!
