I, _ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend theConstitution of theUnitedStates against all enemies,foreign and domestic;..in1968 I took that oath.NOW they are forced to make an ugly choice.One I never had to make;To obey the Constitution or a King! It seems the king is winning!

How can any written document be enforced without the cooperation of the people? Any suggestion that it failed because it wasn't relevant, or enforceable denies that it was circumvented and ignored by deliberate means. TheConstitution is only as good as the will of people to sustain it.
