They can do it the easy way,
or WE All do can do it the hard way.
WE ALL can't all lose forever.
WE won't when we don't accept life's rules

free acid!

Saturday/Sunday

MGM cameramen here to film Riot on Haight Street reputed to be passing out free acid to make the action more "Authentic." It's a bribe, but I'm an easy lay for free acid. Considering the kind of cats they are and where they're at etc. it probably isn't even true. A cheap rumor calculated to produce a picturesque crowd. I'll find out.

free? Haight Street movie cameras MGM lsd acid?

this rumor gestetnered for what it's worth by the communication company (ups) 4/8/67.
Free acid? Be advised. It's probably a lie. (When's the last time MGM did anything free for you? Right.)

Right? What can you lose by asking?

Sheep? Baa.

Beware of leaders, heroes, organizers: watch that stuff. Beware of structure freaks. they do not understand.

We know the system doesn't work because we live in it's ruins. We know that leaders don't work out because they have led us only to the present, the good leaders equally with the bad. (Who caused more suffering, hitler or st. paul?) It doesn't matter whether the leader is good or bad: leading per se is bad. The medium is the message and the message of leadership is Vietnam. Concentration camps. The Great Society. Riots on Haight Street.

What the system calls organization -- linear organization -- is a systematic cage, arbitrarily limiting the possible. It's never worked before. It's always produced the present.

And heroes are only heroes, nothing more.

Any man who wants to lead you is The Man. Think: why would anybody want to lead me? Think: why should I pay for this trip? Think.

LBJ is our leader and you know where that's at.

Watch out for the cats who want to play The System's games cause you can't beat The System at its own games and you know that. Why should we trade one establishment for another establishment? Do your thing. Be what you are. If you don't know what you are, find out

Fuck leaders.

a sound leader's aim is to open people's hearts, fill their stomachs, calm their will, brace their bones, and to clarify their thoughts and cleanse their needs that no cunning meddler could touch them: without being forced, without strain or constraint, good government comes of itself.

~ Lao Tzu

this is an old self printed flyer produced by The Diggers for The Trip Without a Ticket. It includes a list of free classes and discussions, where you can learn among other things: how to avoid gangbangs, rape, VD and pregnancy; how to avoid getting busted and what to do if you are; and how to live safely on the street with no money.

They promise no cheap moralizing, no bullshit, nothing phony, no lies, no beating around the bush, no sales talk, just straight information you can trust.

this is long and i'm not typing it out -- but full text is available here: https://www.diggers.org/digpaps68/twatdp.html

The Diggers: On this day, 1 April 1649, a farmer and writer called Gerrard Winstanley along with a small group of 30 to 40 men and women occupied St. George's Hill, Watton, Surrey, England and began tilling the land collectively.
