I've said more than enough praise for Ha Ji-won considering she's my newest obsession, but watching Yoon Kye-sang here after #TheWinningTry is also a revelation. Dr. Lee Kang is a completely different beast and he devoured that role here too.

I've said more than enough praise for Ha Ji-won considering she's my newest obsession, but watching Yoon Kye-sang here after #TheWinningTry is also a revelation. Dr. Lee Kang is a completely different beast and he devoured that role here too.

Ro Hee has value for different reasons: fame, money, medical hope, and therefore her life is protected. Everyone else in the show is expendable. Even the ML, Myung Joon, who's value rises and falls depending on Ro Hee. #TheKidnappingDay
At its heart, #TheKidnappingDay asks the question, "what is a human life worth?" A dark comedy with a thriller that keeps you on edge, it doesn't treat the audience as stupid, doling out twists left and right, w/a smart cop figuring things out quickly, usually in the next scene.
