An amazing book about Belle da Costa Greene, JP Morgan’s personal librarian. She hid her true identity & passed as white during segregation/Jim Crow. She had an amazing life but the danger of discovery was always present. #booksky #thepersonallibrarian #mariebenedict #victoriachristophermurray

I also just finished this book and it was phenomenal. This is a true story of an amazing woman, with exceptional skills and knowledge of the arts and business. She's my hero. You'll be wanting to read this.
