Just watched The Sea Wolves. Despite being based on an actual incident, it's really just The Wild Geese at sea. With Roger Moore and his cigar. And did Maurice Binder do all the film titles in the 70s?

"It's less a broad caper than WILD GEESE but it still pulls itself together as a sort of messy meeting between 'against the odds' comedy, true life espionage drama and rip-roaring action adventure."
My ★★★★ review of #TheSeaWolves on @Letterboxd.

#TheSeaWolves: Retired Brit soldiers called back to (off the books) duty to help sink a German ship.
It's just okay. First half is all intelligence gathering and Moore and Peck are good together, but it drags. Second half more entertaining, but still nothing special.
Barbara Kellerman is a dream.
