Ticking clock for #TheSimpsonsTappedOut

😭

Grabbing a few fun characters before the game goes dark for good

Here’s my Springfield.

To honor the end of #TheSimpsonsTappedOut here’s a cursed image of Homer wearing a knockoff Homer mask

(It’s just Shrek painted yellow)

I love that this is a character in #TheSimpsonsTappedOut

Two months left til the game goes dark for good!

~Don’t Do That!~

#TheSimpsonsTappedOut

It’s the final day of Simpsons Tapped Out, the first smart phone mobile game I ever played 😭

Farewell old friend

My last tasks involved the Spucklers growing corn which takes 90 real days to complete so, somewhere in the cyberspace void, Springfield will have a fresh crop of corn in April

After 12 years or so of playing The Simpsons: Tapped Out, EA are switching off the servers. I've enjoyed wasting time setting the 500+ characters tasks and jobs to earn money & doughnuts. Monorail round my Springfield

The last day of The Simpsons: Tapped Out! Level 502. I had lots of fun. ♥️

"In this #DEATHBATTLE play, we learn why you should not shoot Willie! It's good advice!"

Here's a sorta-sprite-image of Groundskeeper Willie VS Yosemite Sam!

Wasn't sure how to mesh the two worlds at first but I figured a play/theatre setting was unique enough!

Sources n stuff in alt text!

And… it’s over. I may have given up on keeping up with arranging my Springfield once the monorail update hit, but I still played #tsto every day for almost 13 years. #thesimpsonstappedout

Ah the servers have finally closed on one of the simplest and funniest mobile phone games!! #TheSimpsonsTappedOut

It's the end of an era. That's right, friends, the unpossible has happened. Today, #TheSimpsonsTappedOut shutsdown 😭

Today is the last day that Tapped Out is available to play and, as silly as this is, I am feeling rather sad.

Anything can happen in Springfield.

I’m going to miss this game. I’ve been playing #TheSimpsonsTappedOut since about a month after its launch. It’s been the only consistent mobile game I’ve had for its entire duration. #TSTA you will be missed! 😢
