I adore Ernest Thesinger!
He was a world class embroiderer, wrote books on the subject, was the Vice Patron of Britain’s Embroidery Guild and was awarded an OBE for the work he did in helping WW1 veterans adjust to life after the war by learning needle arts.

I do a lot of different fiber crafts & I remember reading about this actor & his love of embroidery years ago . So fascinating!
