I’m very much enjoying #TheTombOfDragons, don’t get me wrong, but I am BOGGLING that Katherine Addison now wants me to parse Iäna Pel-Thenhior as heterosexual.

I can try to buy his InstaBesties dynamic with Thara Celehar as platonic, if you insist, but reading him as STRAIGHT is just…?

🤯

#thetombofdragons reading thread RAHHHHH 🐉🏃(no spoilers just reactions... but still tread with caution, inference is a powerful thing) (page numbers from the UK paperback soz idk about the US copies)

LOVING the new #KatherineAddison book for no particular reason. I mean also, Thara my awkward elven love. #theTombOfDragons

Still salty about this absolutely BIZARRE authorial volte face in #TheTombOfDragons.

To suddenly start frantically insisting NO HOMO!!! about someone you’ve queer coded for 2 1/2 books is just…why?

He could have an unrequited crush on the protagonist. He could just recognise ‘family’. But…

~Struggles and hopes in the quagmire of administration. Plus, a sprinkle of Dragons~

I loved every bit of it.
And feel very seen.

#TheGoblinEmperor really is a gift that keeps on giving.

"Tranquility in Strength" from @pennyvixen.bsky.social's The Witness for the Dead really resonated with me on my current re-read! Wrote about it in relation to *the world*, my ADHD journey and more. Take a look:

A bit of good news: @pennyvixen.bsky.social has a new book out right now! #TheOrbOfCaidrado, introducing a new main character, Ulcetha Zhorvena, just as interesting as Maia and Thara Celahar. Read it NOW, while we wait for #TheTombOfDragons to come out in March.

Oh my, but #TheTombOfDragons by @pennyvixen.bsky.social was so good! I raced through it today and now need to read it again more slowly. And it certainly looks like the #CemeteriesOfAmalo series could continue, which makes me very happy!
