Definitely some kind of critter face in the bark patterns of this tree. I don’t know how to describe this one after coloring it in. Whatever it is seems to have a greenish proboscis, whiskers, big green insect eyes, and a reddish tuft of hair between its eyebrows.

Unusual pattern in a trees bark looks froggy to me. Frog face that came out with the application of some green, white, and yellow in photo edit. Burl in a tree looks like the face of a Bigfoot. Bigfoot face that appeared with the help of very little black, gray, and pink coloring in photo edit.

Unusual pattern in a tree resembles a face. I added color to accent the eyes, nose, lips, and chin resulting in someone who looks kind of medieval European to me. That wasn’t the intent. That’s just what appeared.

I can’t remember where I found these inspirational trees. But it was on May 14, 2021
Gnarly tree was suggestive of a face with a large nose. Result of using the iPhone photo editing tools to fill in what my brain was seeing. I really really like this one a lot. Another tree trunk that looked like there was a creature waiting to express itself. Filled in the eye and mouth that were already there and this tree critter came to life.
