Today’s viewing: #TheXfromOuterSpace (Nihonmatsu, 1967) the release from Shochiku is a weird film that the studio marketed as horror but fits more within the genres of science fiction and Japan’s own kaiju established in 1954 with Godzilla. #filmsky

He tells the driver to "floor it"
Is it possible that the driver did not have his full strength on that accelerator foot the entire time?

Wow, what a scene.

Wide landscape of smoking dystopian rubble. And a woman in a pink dress runs out of it.

They should have worked on this Kaiju's voice a little more. At the very least it needs more echo.
