Last week, IP intern Layla came into the studio to handle the auditing. Afterwards, she had time to talk to Thelmalee, her mentor. They went over Layla's goals for her project and Thelmalee gave some amazing advice. Layla found her incredibly helpful as a mentor and is excited for future projects.

Thelmalee meet with intern Malea last week. Malea aims to complete a nature series that will capture both summer and fall, wanting people to feel calm when viewing her photos. Hopefully, this project will help Malea grow as an artist and also bring forth motivations she never knew she had.

IP Artist and mentor Thelmalee spent yesterday morning supervising interns, helping them with their duties if needed, and setting up schedules.

She also assisted with unfinished tasks around the building, such as cleaning and organizing.

We had a full house of interns and mentors today for our Digital Journeys cohort. IP artists Sai Thao and Thelmalee Titus will guide our young artists in developing their skills as professional organizers, leaders, and creatives.

I had the best surprise visit from IP artist Thelmalee Titus. Thelmalee first came to us after her mom dropped her at an open mic event way back in the day. She was involved when COVID hit - then she graduated high school and left for college. Now she is back and visiting! We are lucky!

Remembering Thelma Lee, born November 9, 1916 and passed away March 11, 2012.
