Exactly. Remove the underlining (and underdeveloped) liberalism, and Dworkin's legal interpretation is indistinguishable from common good constitutionalism. Vermeule deploys it towards deeply illiberal and undemocratic ends in service of a Catholic theorcracy without issue.

Boy it's nice to be back on British soil, we just spent some years in the Netherlands and it kinda sucked. Boy I wish we were still running a theorcracy, so shitty that the king came back and stopped that. Oh well, maybe we can religiously oppress more people in America.

You might very well be right there. A friend of mine thinks the same, and true enough - if Project 2025 is implemented in full force then those who don't want to live in fascism and theorcracy will have no other choice but to leave the country or fight.
