Thirdverse, the studio behind virtual reality games Soul Covenant, X8, and ALTAIR BREAKER, has announced Hello Kitty Skyland, a free-to-play social virtual reality game scheduled for release on Quest and "other major virtual reality platforms." An Early Access release is planned for late 2025. Applications for its Creator Program are also now open.

Additionally, it was reported that Hollywood actor and producer Masi Oka has joined as a strategic investor and advisor. Thirdverse is an XR game studio with bases in Japan and San Francisco, developing and operating titles for the global market. The company’s main focus is on game projects rooted in VR/social experiences.
