#ThisIsSjogrens
April is Sjogren's Awareness month. So guys, be aware. It's a disease. Chronic fatigue is my biggest hurdle. I am grateful every day for medicine that allows me to continue to do this job and not fall alseep at the keyboard (that only happened the once). #thisissjogrens

April is Sjögren’s disease awareness month.
I have Sjögren’s disease.
Sjögren's is a systemic autoimmune disease that affects the entire body. But most commonly known for causing your body to attack its own moisture-producing glands, causing dry eyes and mouth.

I have dry eyes, mouth, nose, and skin. I dehydrate very easily, am prone to constipation, & can't always do a lot physically (I don't want to trigger the infamous fatigue!). I luckily have minimal dysautonomia, & currently no nerve, lung, kidney problems. #ThisIsSjogrens

Starting a new med, coming off an old med, trying to get approved for meds, and being denied by AI-generated crap from the insurance industry. Meeting with my medical team to try to deal with the insurance industry when we should be just discussing treatment.
I'm tired, y'all.
