Too much posting today but I’ll emphasize: I went from jails, addiction, and homelessness to being an attorney on the front lines of the fight, and every trans person I know has a story like this. We’re stronger than anything the bigots can throw at us. We’ll hold back the dark.

First anniversary. Together for ten years prior to getting married. I discovered I was trans just a few months later. She is completely straight, but we managed to come out closer than ever. She lost her family for staying with me. There is no more wonderful woman in the world.

A dog foster. The dog was the longest stay at the shelter. I took him overnight to get adoption pictures. I came home and my wife said, "His name is Baxter and he's staying. If you don't like it, there's the door." 🤣 The kittens love him because he's basically a giant heated bed 💕
