I think there’s something worth unpacking here: why does “protecting girls” so often become an argument for controlling their bodies? How do we get from saying girls deserve safety to suggesting they should have to prove their sex to participate in school sports?
Someone please explain to me how mandatory genital inspections for all girls is better than letting trans kids play sports. Explain to me like I'm 5 how whatever "unfair advantage" we have is so destructive that it's worth traumatizing little girls to prevent it.
