I used the r2modman mod manager for modding Valheim, with the EnhancedValheimVRM mod. Super easy to set it up, I had it up in 5 minutes.
(seriously don't use thunderstore it's such a trash modloader i've hated it every time i've tried to use it)

Yeah man, similar experience with Valheim. So many mod thumbnails all look the same, and the codebases are all HUGE, verbose, baroque, slop. And not just Nexus, ThunderStore is even worse (no comments section to call out shit)
