It's not an immediate thing, but yeah, my thyroid's gotten considerably worse in the last year based on my bloodwork.
Going to talk to endo tomorrow and see what my options are.

I feel dramatic but idk… I saw a new GP to ask for bloodwork (thyroid’s acting up, I barely sleep) and also mentioned lower back pain because I feared a kidneyinfection again. She just said: ‘Pick one. We only discuss one problem per consult. Make another appointment for the rest.’ I feel startled.

@bearofoses.bsky.social I feel very sad about your Wolfie’s fast kidney disease progression and lack of appetite. My Wolfie’s renal readings go up and down depending on how his thyroid’s doing.
He was having low appetite yesterday so I gave him 1/4 Cerenia tablet & luckily he’s eating better today.

Great news: Spike’s CBC came back normal! Even his lymphocytes are looking good, so maybe we can rule out lymphoma as the cause of the spot on his lung.
His thyroid’s a tad low. We’ll be adding a new med for that.

Also got diagnosed with an overactive thyroid and both things need further investigation, but the most probable outcome is that once the thyroid’s treated the arrhythmia will go back to normal by itself.

The longer time goes on, the more convinced I am that my thyroid's beginning to kick off again. The arrhythmia, the insatiable appetite, and the fact that I've been eating everything that's not nailed down, but not putting as much weight on as I normally would. Let's hope I avoid a thyroid storm.

Gave up and got up at 4. Fluffy robe, wrapped in two throws, went to sofa in kitchen. Read, fell asleep. Husband up, took coffee and toast back to bed with Ellie’s breakfast, read, fell asleep. Need to go out to water but might fall asleep. This old and cold thing sucks. My thyroid’s perfect.

Love finding out even more things wrong with me are my thyroid's fault. Today it's delayed gastric emptying, causing the GERD I get hours after eating sometimes.
I need it removed so badly and can't convince any doctors to let me get the surgery, and it hurts.
