Tried 4 times to post an image and just kept getting a black rectangle, so I'm now trying a different image entirely. Fingers crossed for this lovely comma in the sun at #TicesMeadow yesterday

Close-up of a pussy willow head that's gone over - some yellow and white filaments are still sticking out as usual, but a section in the middle droops badly

Common blue damselfly male posing at #TicesMeadow this week for #Sharemondays2026
A vibrant turquoise and black male common blue damselfly has landed at the top of a grass seed head, bending it over as it perches on the top. It looks directly at the camera with the big eyes at the sides of its head. Body and wings fade into the distance.

Whoop! Finally managed to post an image! PC wanted a reboot, no idea why - everything else seemed to be working OK.
So here's the one I forgot to post last week - one of the lovely two grey wagtails I saw around the stream in #TicesMeadow last Friday 😀
