#TiedHousing

It's widely agreed amongst #divorced spouses of #clergy that attempting to live separately together* is excruciating.

Yes, this resonates with many of our members, who've lost a lot of sleep trying to deal with this over the years.
Add in the trap of #TiedHousing, and it's VERY hard to speak out. #MoralInjury

Thanks for naming the power of #TiedHousing to muddy the waters. Spouses & children can, & do, suffer enormous collateral damage

Today marks #EconomicAbuseAwareness Day.

Hi
How are separating church leaders' spouses looked after in your churches? Do they end up being ostracised? What is in place to make sure complicated pastoral needs don't slip through the gaps?
Do they have #TiedHousing issues to contend with?
