A software dev just emailed me nearly 10 years after I asked about something in the app I used to interface with FurryMUCK, Tapestries, Tigerden, and SPR back in the day. He's updated it to v2.0 so it natively runs on Apple Silicon Mac's. Absolutely delightful interruption to my day!

really tired of the thought terminating cliches of "we just can't/the city says something/it has to be this way" even though this 90s ass con registration method has been busted and not scaling for years as it is.

tigerden is a furry-run isp that as a courtesy had an internet room at AC and other cons where people could log on to an all-in-one linux terminal and get on irc/furrymuck/etc. back before we all had smartphones, because there was just no other way to be connected at the time

Happy to know I wasnt alone in doing so. These were amazing, and I loved some of the short stories, little art pieces scattered about, and furry ads predating paper flyers everywhere in the hotel. Oh, and TigerDen where if you wanted internet you had access at all. XD
