Started the new year building LEGO & jigsaw puzzles & finally got a board game to the table! 😊 I loved how dice in Tiletum are used to gain resources & determine what actions you can do on your turn. Thanks to @darylbegamin.bsky.social for teaching. Looking forward to playing again! #boardgames

Finally got a second play of Tiletum in last night. Still solid. Still ugly. Setup is a beast considering how much has to be changed by player count.

#brettspiele

Tiletum and IKI.
Tiletum is a strong title, even if it is too mechanical and dry.
IKI was a disappointment, but I think it'll be better with a higher player count.

Good recent gaming: Things in Rings (6 games with Michelle; we also played live with viewers), Tiletum (2nd play with @darylbegamin.bsky.social), Machi Koro Legacy (games 7 & 8 with @doscar.bsky.social), Castle Combo (excellent filler), and Life in Reterra (approachable tile-laying). #boardgames

Board Games Anonymous was a hit!
1. I re-box Tiletum
2. @gatordave.bsky.social lists games on BGG marketplace
3. LilyDLV cuts out bandages for Dungeons and Dinos
4. @myblueheather.bsky.social adds game titles to BGG collection (no pic, doggo as substitute)

Tiletum did this as well. One could argue all 3 colours on the right are too close if all 3 are in the game.
Just a needless level of confusion for no actual gain.

Tiletum: Renaissance Merchant Strategy
In Tiletum a #boardgame by Board & Dice, 1-4 players take on the roles of Renaissance merchants competing to earn victory points by fulfilling orders, hosting nobles, and funding cathedrals using dice placement and resource management.

Setting up Tiletum reminds me of why I stopped playing Castles of Burgundy. Tonight's "gameplay" was setting up the game. Guess I'll play tomorrow! #boardgames
