A surreal, vertically composed scene centers on a woman seated sideways on a simple metal chair in an impossible room filled with distorted clocks. She wears a fitted black lace corset-style bodysuit, long black gloves, patterned fishnet stockings, and pointed dark shoes. One leg crosses high over the other while her raised hand rests thoughtfully beneath her chin. Her dark hair is gathered into a loose bun, and her face appears in crisp profile as she gazes toward the left side of the room. Behind her, enormous antique clocks stretch and narrow into hourglass-like forms, their Roman-numeral faces warped by the architecture. Smaller clocks rise from thin stems throughout the space. On the left, pale furniture appears to melt and twist into fluid organic shapes. Fine black strands drift through the scene like loose hair, smoke, or ink suspended in air. Strong golden sunlight pours diagonally through tall unseen windows, casting elongated geometric shadows across a pale floor, while muted blue-green shadows deepen the distant room. The combination of elegant posture, distorted objects, flowing lines, and impossible scale creates a dreamlike environment where both space and time seem physically unstable.
