I do ❤️ some short linear campaigns carried by spectacle and novelty like Singularity, TimeShift, or Syndicate (2012). The combat and enemies between these games would fundamentally be the same, but you'd see some cool setpieces time to time. Less likely to be the case when it's padded out to 20+ hrs

Seeing people talking about how we can't get rid of the biannual daylight savings timeshift because kids will be walking to school in the dark, and I just want to say three things:
- As it is, kids are walking home in the dark
- We could alter school schedules
- Employers could alter work schedules

I run a backup on my Linux desktop computer every day (BackInTime, TimeShift). Good for me!
But when I set this up I neglected to configure Auto-Removal of old backups, so I set that today & kicked it off.
Though the backups are incremental, I still recovered 229 Gig off my backup disk. Oi!

Bittersweet. #TimeShift is speculative fiction with an open ending to write a sequel if it gains traction and I can think of a good reason to write one.

British Columbians: If you or your parents still watch cable television, and especially if you/they rely on timeshift channels, check what time your TV shows are on now. We had to get creative finding solutions to some shows that conflicted.
