The most common type of false allegation of sexual violence is DARVO complaints made by perpetrators against their very real victims.

DARVO stands for Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. It’s a way perpetrators avoid accountability by accusing their victims of wrongdoing.

The general sense from law enforcement is that victims are “asking for it” by expecting systems to take concerns about violence seriously.

A kind of, “If you want us to believe you, then we have to believe your abuser who said you were dangerous.”

would have read your whole post if you would not have started out with the political nonsense. I did go back and read it and I'm so sorry for your daughter's pain. That kind of crap pisses me off! I was a police officer for a long time and worked a lot of sex crimes and they're the worse cases to work. If you want folks on your side on either of the isle maybe keep the politics out of it and express your actual concerns directly. It certainly would have kept my attention for the entire jest of the post. Anyway...! apologize for being quick to judgment on the actual reason for the post.
