Today's bouquet
Mallows make magnificent bouquets.
The way they can catch light always astonishes.
Grow some yourself to make an easy grab and go arrangement.

This summer I’ve been posting #TodaysBouquets from my cut flower garden. Nothing to do with writing. Everything to do with joy for me.

Today's Bouquets

A small bouquet, simple and bright,
Flowers unfurled by morning light.
Each petal holds a quiet grace,
A gentle gift, a calm embrace.

I started sharing my zinnia and cosmo bouquets from the front garden this summer under #TodaysBouquets

Your garden is gorgeous.
#TodaysBouquets the zinnias are evening bumblebee beds. They’re still and silent. Just resting on the last blossoms.

The first thing I checked once I got home from the writing retreat was my garden. I set up an irrigation system (found it for $25 at the end of last fall.)

I’m happy to report that it is working beautifully and the zinnias are starting to blossom!

Tried to keep the red white and blues in one bouquet with a few pops from yellow poppies. That’s my favorite from these.

#TodaysBouquets I love that there are enough flowers now that I can color coordinate a bit more deliberately.

#TodaysBouquets All the mini zinni’s are finally deciding to bloom. And look at that lovely rose of Sharon from the backyard by the creek!

#WritingCommunity I love finishing dollhouses. And this year my cut flower garden was the best it’s ever been. You can see some of the bouquets I created under #TodaysBouquets

#TodaysBouquets I’m so excited about the new cases I found at the dollar store. And défini ready to drop off some more bouquets to neighbors.

A bouquet for today.

Snapdragons are one of my favorite cut flowers because they look just as amazing by themselves as they do mixed in with other flowers.

White zinnia and blossoming oregano

And the plate where wilting blossoms go to dry before I add them to the bag for next years flower garden seeds.

This week I started setting out some cut flower bouquets for neighbors. If they want they can pay what they want. So one person left $10. I used that to buy 7 vases. And now there are fresh bouquets in vases for anyone in the neighborhood who’d like them.

Spreading the joy today.

I think the zinnias and cosmos may be near the end of their season. Especially after Helene knocked them all down and I tied them back upright. But the bees are just loving them anyway. #TodaysBouquets
