This film is an amazing skewering of a specific type of idiot chasing the American dream. The casting and Michael Bay's Whole Thing is spot on for the tone of it as well.

Released the same year as The Wolf of Wall Street, very similar themes, and it's better than it in every way. Yet Wolf of Wall Street got an Oscar nod and this got panned by a lot of people who are simply Wrong about fine cinema.
