Sadly no space for Amtrac, Annie, Floating Points, Fred Again..., Confidence Man, nor the Honey Dijon remix of Tiga & Hudson Mohawke's Feel the Rush - presumably the #Top30of30 will be easier.
But let's end on a high. Pure joy. The kids are all right.

The Road to Hell Is Paved with Good Intentions is a top 10 album of the year for me - it mostly trades in lush, downtempo chillout stuff, but this is the one banger.

Here's one you've heard before. And yes I am a 52-year-old man who was literally moved to tears when he first heard it and also last week when he heard it for the umpteenth time (while on a commuter train!). So confusing indeed.

And here's the only track to actually feature some Dutch - Luke Slater's tribute to an Eindhoven manic street preacher.
L.B. Dub Corp - Only The Good Times
Musically, it complements Day 7's Burial track as a much more rose-tinted look back at a dance music golden age.

In many ways the "biggest" track(s) in the list, certainly the longest, and quite possibly my favourite. It's a 90s rave throwback thing, Jim, but not as we know it. A trip!

If my list looks pretty diverse so far, fear not: the bulk is still pale English men (and the occasional Welsh woman) fiddling around with electronics in their home studios.
