80/20 beef medium heat on a griddle. Season with adobo or salt pepper+garlic. Brown it and break up with a spatula (the louder you chop the better it tastes). Add a bit of Worcestershire if you want. Add some cut up onions (peppers optional) and let 'em caramelize in the beef fat. Toss a few slices of American cheese on, let 'em sweat, and chop everything together.
Now I personally add ketchup mustard and hot sauce to the meat pile, but some folks like Mayo and ketchup on the hoagie roll .
Add lettuce and tomato if desired
Load up the roll and wrap it in foil, cut on a bias Wait till 3am, get hammered and enjoy :)

So Sup Dogs sauce is basically—but not quite, more on that in a minute—Campfire Sauce. I mean, look at them! The dried pepper fragments! The color!Luckily we have some leaks from Red Robin employees to work with here for the base recipe.

Lo and behold, a quick search revealed the very same recipe card on Reddit. One of my good friends was married to one of the 2nd gen Hainline kids (son of one of the B's) and he gave the recipe to me years ago after the restaurants closed.
