#Torg:Eternity doesn’t get enough love, either for the very crunchy but genuinely exciting combat system, and for one heckuva metaplot and game world. A world of high adventure, and a world changed by Reality invaders. The players are the only chance Core Earth has at ending the Possibility Wars.
A map showing eastern North America, from Quebec south and west to Indiana. Across this region are a series of 16 triangles indicating places where Earth’s reality has been overwritten. The three Easternmost triangles from Montreal down to Maine are Red, indicating they’ve been taken over by Aysle a reality of magic and dragons. The nine to the west from Michigan south east to Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey are Green and have been taken over by the Living Land, a land of fog shrouded jungles, dinosaurs and the lizard men who live there. The last four triangles? They (from Ottawa southeast to Rhode Island) are a land where both Realities hold sway, and is a desperate battle between them. A poster of various beings from the Torah:Eternity game setting some depicted above the crimson storm clouds above a modern city’s skyline. Upper left, a sinister man dressed in Victorian clothes (The Gaunt Man), centre-left a robed man weaving a spell with one hand (an Ayslish wizard) centre-right a woman wearing heavy high tech armor and sporting a cybernetic arm and eye with a large glowing cross on her chest armour (a Cyberpapacy Hospitalier), and upper-right a man whose face is hidden by a Pharaoh’s dress and cowl (Doctor Morbius, ruler of the Nile Empire) Beneath them a huge lizard man wielding a long spear and riding a T-Rex (Burak Kaah, ruler of the Living Land) and in front of him many plant-zombie creatures known as Gospog. On this image is written the meme. Tory:Eternity. Yeah, it’s in here. Somewhere.
