Thank you to everyone who came to our first Hands on History mudlarking exhibition of September’s #TotallyThamesFestival at the Guildhall, City of London, yesterday. An amazing building, the site of the Roman amphitheatre, it was great to see so many of you. We go again today, 10-5pm, free entry.

To the law 'disorderly' meant vagrant, immoral, disruptive. Poor women worked in the street selling used things - clothes, wigs, pots. And they sold sex, maybe picked pockets. How else were they meant to survive with no jobs available? #TotallyThamesFestival thamesfestivaltrust.org/whats-on/dis...
