A quick doodle of Toullie, one of the Nightmare Critters from Poppy Playtime. Never played the game, but love his design <3

I have made two more of Nightmare Critters into my AU. They are based on their descriptions just like Baba, but I can’t come up with any themes with the others’ description for them, so I’ll make up something for them. #nightmarecrittersau #digitalart #smallartist #lucidcritters
On the drawing there’s two characters, a bat one named Book Mary, and a rat one named Voluble Show. They are an AU version (the AU being called Lucid Critters) of Rabie Baby (the bat) and Toullie (the rat). They are originally from the game Poppy Playtime and specifically the Nightmare critters. Book Mary is mainly dark magenta (her legs, outer wings, outer ears, mark around her eyes, her boy’s side and back, plus her book necklace’s cover) and a dirtish light pink (her feet, face and neck fur). Her secondary colour is beige (her stomach that has black lines vertically, her inner wings, ears and the pages on her book necklace). She also has red accents (her tounge, tail that looks like a book mark, the middle wing “finger” and the book mark on her necklace). she was an inspiration from the greater mouse-tailed bat, somewhat dark academia and the saying “open book to read”. Voluble Show’s main colour is a medium blue-ish grey. His secondary colours are a light blue-ish grey (his snout and inner mark on his body, making look like he is wearing a jacket) and a dark blue-ish grey (his hands, feet, the “circle” on the end of his tail making it look like a microphone, outer ears and two lines in the middle of his body making look like what connects the jackets but it also looks like a part of a radio). his accent colour is a dirty blue colour (his nose, tail, tounge, teeth and radio necklace) and black (his inner ears and the two speakers on the radio necklace). He was only inspired radios. These two characters both have a black inner mouth and eyes with white pupils. While Book Mary has small fangs, Voluble Show has buck teeth, which looks more beaver like. There’s a quick coloured doodle of Book Mary and Voluble Show. Mary is hearing something and she is telling this to Show covering her mouth a little while Show is tapping his tail / microphone. They both have squinting eyes with a devious, sassy look

I sketched Toullie when I waiting for my client due his physiotherapy appointment last week, and when the secretary asked what I was doing I told her about the game and showed her the pic.

First question through the day today, "Any new drawings?" 😆 (Sadly not)

Day 7 before #PoppyPlaytime4
Here is the resident rodent, #Toullie! Honestly, making dynamic poses is harder than it looks, and I'm pretty sure I got the proportions wrong, but each day is a learning experience.

A repost of my later video to this meme~ Like many others who have made this meme with the Nightmare Critters, Toullie is the perfect candidate to perform this dance! Though my version of the character from my Au CatTrapped is being accompanied by his sweetheart, Maggie Mako, for this dance!

Nothing beats taking a dip in the ocean and spending some time underwater! Especially when it’s with your significant other~ Looks like Maggie and Toullie are having quite the moment underwater huh?~

I like how they gave up on the fancy, mostly alliterated names with these guys. Nah, this is one's just Poe or Toullie. Granted, the Smiling Critters' names were so infantile I felt less insulted reading Teletubbies' names, but the laziness still shows.
