Another unexpected connection: William M. Vories, the architect of Kobe Womens College would do the design work for Toyosato Elementary school a few years later. That's the model for the school in K-On!.
Someone just informed me elsewhere that the Miss Souths school in Trapezium and Totsukos school in Colors Within were both based on location scouting the same real world school. That’s certainly an unexpected connection.
