With all due respect, please drop the hyphen; we are women who are trans, trans women. Not some other category.
'Trans-women', 'transwomen', and their equivalents others use. ie you would not write blackwoman, so please stop.

I've even seen it written as "transactivist" (so as to really rob us of that verb). Although it sounds more like some kind of credit-debit card technology.

adding onto this to note that i have occasionally seen people use this word derogatorily with an attitude that has the distinct smell of "transwoman" or "transactivist", i.e., a dogwhistly way. you're not being as slick as you think you are with that one, i wager
Maybe it's a bit of a petty semantic disagreement, but I'm kinda peeved with how ppl have started to use "transfeminist" to refer to a trans person who is generally feminist

I know it's a small point but the use of "transactivist" as a noun should make it obvious to anyone how unserious these people are.
